Performance Features

Engineered to produce up to 245 horsepower, a 2.0-L turbocharged engine is set up by default under the hood of the 2020 Lincoln MKZ. When working at 3,000 RPM, the four-cylinder powertrain delivers 275 pound-feet of torque. Integrated into the hybrid powertrain, the 2.0 L Atkinson cycle engine is designed with maximum efficiency in mind. The peak ratings of this efficient engine are 188 hp and 129 lb-ft. Rated at 1.4 kWh, a lithium-ion battery stores plenty of electrical power for on-demand use. The hybrid system also includes a conventional AC electric motor. You'll get up to 42 MPG on the highway thanks to this innovative propulsion system.

Additionally, the 2020 Lincoln MKZ offers a 3.0 L V6 engine that gets lots of leverage from two turbochargers in a twin configuration. When synced with an all-wheel drive, this six-cylinder engine yields 400 hp and 400 lb-ft. Featuring a twin-scroll turbocharger, the 2020 Cadillac CT5's 2.0 L engine whips out 237 hp and 258 lb-ft when burning premium unleaded gasoline. This model also offers a twin-turbo V6 engine that generates 360 hp and 405 lb-ft.

Driving Features

Handling

Equipped with the Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive, the 2020 Lincoln MKZ offers a premium ride on paved surfaces. When the wheels slip on a wet pavement, the patented AWD system restores directional stability. This luxury Lincoln sedan also has a six-speed gearbox with the most recent SelectShift technology for smooth shifting. The hybrid powertrain is synchronized with the Electronic Continuously Variable Transmission (e-CVT) system that provides a lot more gear ratios. If you drive off course, the Electric Power-Assisted Steering will make the necessary adjustments. The 2020 Lincoln MKZ also boasts the Adaptive Suspension System that optimizes the ride quality on paved roads. You can turn on the Normal, Comfort, and Sport modes for this innovative suspension. Similarly, the 2020 Cadillac CT5's Magnetic Ride Control ensures a pleasant drive on highways. However, this Cadillac sedan doesn't have any transmissions that are as efficient and responsive as the Lincoln MKZ's e-CVT.
