Performance Features

The 2021 Lincoln Aviator harnesses up to 400 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged engine that displaces 3.0 liters. Formed into a V-6 layout, this standard powertrain pumps out 415 pound-feet of torque at the 3,000-RPM level on the tachometer. This six-cylinder, gasoline-burning engine is paired with the Nano Electric Motor on high-level trims. Maximum ratings of the hybrid powertrain are 494 hp and 630 lb-ft. Based on EPA estimates, this high-end Lincoln SUV gets up to 58 MPGe on the highway and 54 MPGe(*) in the city. Delivering only 237 hp and 258 lb-ft, the 2021 Cadillac XT6's 2.0-L turbo engine is no match for the Aviator's twin-turbo powerplant. You can also get a 3.6-L engine for the Cadillac model. Having the Automatic Stop/Start mechanism, this normally aspirated engine can't deliver more than 310 hp and 271 lb-ft. Creating a final drive ratio of 3.58, a 10-speed automatic transmission drives the 2021 Lincoln Aviator. Generating a 3.31 final drive ratio, the 10-speed Modular Hybrid Transmission is synced with the Nano Electric Motor. Additionally, this upscale SUV offers the Lincoln Drive Modes for efficient and powerful performance. You can choose the Pure EV Mode for a quiet ride on local roads. The Preserve EV Mode prioritizes energy usage from the turbo engine. Riding on the Air Glide Suspension, this lavish family car guarantees a pleasant trip for all occupants.

Luxury Features

Luxury Features

A quad-zone automatic climate control system is a major highlight inside the 2021 Lincoln Aviator. Thanks to the Auto Air Refresh function, you'll breathe fresh air during any trip. The Active Air Monitoring System closely monitors the quality of air in the cabin. Heating is available for the leather-trimmed seating inside the deluxe cockpit. You'll even get heating elements for the leather-wrapped steering wheel and VisioBlade windshield wipers. From ambient lighting and the Symphonic Chimes to the Piano Key Shifter and Soft Close Doors, this midsize Lincoln SUV is packed with a handful of high-end amenities. Accessible from the second row, a 110-volt/150-watt power outlet may be used to charge various electronic devices. Despite having a tri-zone HVAC system and leather-appointed seats, the 2021 Cadillac XT6 still doesn't match the luxurious design of the Lincoln model.

Technology Features

Technology Features

As the name suggests, the Phone as a Key unlocks the doors of the 2021 Lincoln Aviator through a smartphone. You'll need to activate the Lincoln Way mobile application on your smartphone to take advantage of the virtual key. This three-row SUV also boasts a 10.1-inch LCD touch screen and 28-speaker audio system with the Revel Ultima 3D label. You just won't find such cutting-edge technologies inside the 2021 Cadillac XT6, which has an 8-inch touch screen and a 14-speaker audio system from Bose.
